The University of Reading Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Film Society
Welcome To Our Society!
It must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays

This site should provide all the information you require to brush the real world under the carpet once a week (at least for the duration of your course). The society is also occasionally known as SWAGA (Society Without A Good Acronym) just to confuse everyone that is not a member and even those that are! Forums are that way...

PLEASE NOTE: A new website is under development, and will be deployed over summer 2011. Hence, this site might not be updated during the Summer Term.

Films of the Term:

Series: Reaper W1: Princess Bride W2: Shutter Island W3: FAQ's About Time Travel W4: The Shadow W5: Soylent Green W6: Star Wars Ep 6 W7: Princess Mononoke W8: Aliens [The second film] W9: Quiz W10: Blackadder: Back and Forth

Other:

Please check out the Current events page for further details of upcoming events, the Upcoming Films page for the term's film and series listings, and the Termly Events page for a guide to what we normally try and do each term.

What Are We About?

Within the site can be found listings of all the upcoming (and past) films, the contents of the vault (from which members are welcome to borrow), how to join, info about council members (so you know who to pile praise/criticism onto), more info in general, and Links to elsewhere. Also any of our hallowed events will be publicized here. Plus, check out the forums.

Please also see: Our constitution, our code of conduct, and our list of termly events.

Also: A page of videos taken at karaoke after the Weekly meetings: Videos!
